#NOWCASTING: National HOST SEARCH for a KIDS + FAMILY Escape Room show from Universal Kids.

SEEKING: Experienced, fun, bubbly, energetic, likeable TELEVISION HOST (21+, all genders, any ethnicity) with comedic and/or improv experience who can lead the flow of the show.
The host is a big kid at heart – think friend/mentor/favorite camp counselor – with an interest in building, design and solving puzzles + strong desire and ease working with kids 6-14 and their families. A passion for escape rooms is a plus.
SHOW BRIEF: In Create the Escape, 3 kids design and build an escape room from scratch in each episode with the help of a Host and 2 Design Experts who assist the kids in transforming their ideas into reality. The only limit is their imaginations. In a fun twist, their family members, teachers, or guest celebrities will try to escape the room when it’s finished. Create the Escape empowers kids to bring their ideas to life – they are the creators and the visionaries!
*** NOTE: Talent should understand they will be working directly with children ages 6-14 and must be bondable for such work (i.e. pass a background check for working with minors).
*** Qualified applicants with criminal histories will be considered for employment in a manner consistent with the requirements of law, including the Los Angeles Fair Chance Initiative for Hiring or the San Francisco Fair Chance Ordinance, where applicable.
PILOT SHOOTS up to one week in late July or early August 2019 in New York Tri-State area.
